Ghostly Encounters: My Life Is an X-File Halloween Special

You can make fun of ghosts all you want, but it’s a different story when they make fun of you.

A Halloween special. Link.

My Life Is an X-File: Ghosts Don’t Knock

A mysterious hairy arm in bed, singing ghosts at the Stanley Hotel, and a restless spirit who refused to leave his former home. These aren’t Halloween tales borrowed from someone else. They happened to me. Three firsthand ghost encounters, plus a few haunted detours involving mischievous spirits, a Titanic connection, and a college dorm experience worthy of the Cowardly Lion.

Nearly 30 years of paranormal experiences, and we haven’t even touched the nightlights. But that’s another story — and not necessarily a ghost story.

Stay curious. Ghosts have a sense of humor, too.

Youtube Podcast – Audio only.

This show focuses on my personal experiences. Short listed.

1. The Stanley Hotel.
2. The Sagebrush Inn.
3. A previous residence.

Other incidents include one who needed assistance transitioning, another had information to share and a few others who just wanted to make their presence known. They do not consider their condition as ‘dead’ – simply minus the physical form to inhabit. Belief has nothing to do with whether they exist. That’s a human issue to manage.

Three Haunting Highlights

1. The Stanley Hotel — The Singing Ghosts, 1:35–6:16

I describe hearing music, singing, laughter, and eventually Lawrence Welk’s Bubbles in the Wine. The experience was even more entertaining when we left and the car windows and horn misbehaved. At the Stanley – the tourists were the entertainment.

2. The Sagebrush Inn — The Uninvited Bed Companion, 6:16–8:44

This is about my dog Gracie’s unusual fear, the television blaring, and the mysterious hairy arm resting over me !! I wasn’t afraid but I also had no idea until I tried to connect the dots the next morning.

3. The Duplex — The Resident Who Wouldn’t Leave, 8:44–15:44

Doors opening, falling shelves, unusual nighttime sensations, and eventually the discovery of a previous resident’s death. This story has a very different emotional direction.

The audio begins with an outtake tease.

The curtains on the window go straight up parallel. It’s like these are these are straight out behind her. And here’s the cowardly lion moment. She says, “I do believe in ghosts. I do believe in ghosts.” And we didn’t talk about it again. [laughter]

Okay. All right. So, there you go. You can make fun of ghosts all you want, but it’s a different story when they make fun of you. Yeah, I’m biased. So, yeah, I do believe in ghosts because I’ve experienced the paranormal for most of my life. But in terms of talking about it, which around Halloween time, it’s usually popular.

But ghosts happen 24/7, any day of the year and anywhere on the planet. So, we’re just going to get into the belief. 41 to 46% of American adults believe in ghosts. That’s according to recent polls. Surveys from Yougov, Lifeway Research, and Civic Science consistently show roughly 41% of adults believe in ghosts or spirits. Other polls figure around 45 to 46% civic science. Okay.

Personal encounters. 20% of Americans say they’ve personally seen, felt, or been near a ghost. And that’s for IF_ love science. Won’t say the word. [laughter] Okay. And I’m one of those experiencers.

Yes, I am biased. Global and historical trends. Belief in spirits and an afterlife is widespread across many cultures and dates back to early human history. Yougov poll found 34% of people in Great Britain believe in ghosts. Skepticism. We’re not going there. Okay.

So, just because this is about ghosts. We’re going where it happens, where it is a common occurrence, which you know may or may not be believed. Stanley Hotel. I’ll get into the public places first that I have experienced a real encounter with something we would consider a ghost. The Stanley Hotel. I hadn’t never been drawn there, but I went with a friend and there was a we were going to a family reunion, so this was like a side trip. And the I mean the place is beautiful. It’s it’s a really cool estate and it’s just um it’s a fun experience to go.

Stephen King wrote the novel about uh what we all know about with the Jack Nicholson film and that was uh The Shining. Really spooky. Well, the place has its own ambiance and everybody wants to stay in that room and there’s more to the story uh just in terms of the people who are the current residents as in not the living residents. When I went in, I wanted to the person I was with said, “Well, you know, we need to find the bathroom.” He needed to find the bathroom. And I said, “Well, go down the hall to the left or whatever.” I heard that. I heard that instruction. So, I repeated it and it happened to be right. Well, I thought, “Okay, here there’s there’s something here.”

As I’m walking around, I have this incredible influence of uh hearing people laughing and hearing singing and hearing music. And nothing I could really identify at that point, but it was it was there. And so knowing that something had connected with me the minute I walked in like okay then there’s there’s something here that I can learn that I can figure out and experience. So nothing much happened.

All right that was that was it. And then on the way out I heard a specific tune and the song was Bubbles in the Wine. This is a Lawrence Welk song and I had to look it up to figure it out. Okay. Bubbles in the Wine. I’d heard it as a kid. My grandparents watched Lawrence Welk, so I was familiar with that. And then hearing it and hearing hearing the words good night, sleep tight.

3:48, 3 minutes, 48 seconds.

Basically, till we meet again. I’m think till we meet again. Okay. The ghosts think they know me and we’re on a personal uh you know level here of we till we meet again. So that was I thought that was an interesting choice. But it also was basically the the territory the the timing for when this hotel was active and the people who lived in it would be entertaining.

Somebody subsequently sent me a picture that they took outside the mansion and it is incredible. It looks like a face of the ghost, Mr. Stanley in the photo. I published it on a blog a while a few years ago. I still have access to it.

Ghost
Mr. Stanley checks in.

But that was also interesting, you know, getting that picture in retrospect and knowing I had these experiences to go along with it. The singing ghosts at the Stanley Hotel and later on I found out Mrs. Stanley played the piano. So the piano I was hearing was it spirits did the singing and they were very happy. So this wasn’t a frightening thing. This is this is like these are happy ghosts. They have no problem being where they are and we’re basically tourists who are lost. [laughter]

We have no idea where we’re going or what we’re doing. And they’re they’re entertained by that. They are amused by the the guests and um possibly also amusing the guests in their own special way. Not everybody’s happy about it.

(Refering to the guests) They are confused and perplexed and dumbfounded because sometimes they don’t believe in ghosts and this might change their perception. So on the way down the hill back to Boulder, the person I was with does not did not has not experienced it and did not want to talk about it. It was not it was not okay.

But the windows on the car wouldn’t roll up all the way. It was like it was stuck. Well, it shouldn’t be stuck, but it was stuck. And I kept my mouth shut. Um, so then as this window’s stuck and I’m still hearing this contact, we stop at an antique store, get out of the store, out of the out of the vehicle and go into the store and the car is honking automatically somehow triggered. The car is honking and it won’t go off. Just the pressing of the key to say go off. No, no, no. He has to go out, open the door, shut the door, and disengage.

So the ghosts took a little side trip just to say you don’t believe in ghosts. Oh, that’s too bad.[laughter]

Okay, so there’s one. The other one is a Sagebrush Inn in Taos. They don’t market this, by the way. You don’t know about that one. And it has been remodeled since I was there. We went with a dog and um the dog was left in the room. It was okay. That was, you know, they they accept pets and so she was welcomed, beautiful Gracie and she’s part shepherd and she was in the room by herself [snorts] and usually that isn’t a problem but Gracie is was intuitive and she would pick up on ghosts and that was when we came back that was an issue because she had been trying to crawl under the bed sheet under the comforter to get away from whatever was in the room. The TV was blaring full blast and she was so frightened and it was it was like, okay something happened.

So at that point we weren’t thinking about a ghost we just thought somebody might have tried to come in the room or you know something scared her but at the same time knowing that’s her her behavior was extremely unusual. So overnight in the middle of the night I had this arm over me. So I’m thinking it’s my partner and he’s put his arm over me and I’m looking at it. I was like, “Wow, that’s really [laughter] that’s I didn’t realize his arm was so hairy.” And went back to sleep. So when I wake up in the morning and happened to be breakfast, there’s the arm. That is not his arm.

And I So then I said, “Did you you know, were you sleeping next to me? Did you throw your arm over me half?” You know, no. No, that never happened. He was on the other side of the bed facing the other direction because we were both dog tired. Okay. Dog. We [laughter] were both exhausted and so no there was not any instance where he had been close enough to me to put his arm just resting over me.

Now the thing is I didn’t feel afraid. I didn’t feel uncomfortable. I felt like this was a normal position and yet it wasn’t. It was it was like oh my gosh. So, I might have not even remembered it except what I did notice was out of place was his his arm was so hairy. I just thought that is, you know, wow, I never noticed that before. And then to realize, yeah, well, that there’s a reason I never noticed it. Okay, so that those are two places my experiences with ghosts.

8:44, 8 minutes, 44 seconds.

And the other one, this is number three. This is an encounter that involved being in a place that we purchased. My husband at the time, we were purchasing properties and remodeling, restoring, rehabbing, and we got a really good deal on a duplex and thought, “Well, this is fantastic.” So, sure, done deal. And got into it, we were able to fix up the other side. And while we were doing that, this side, there were some interesting things that kept happening.

And one, during the middle of the day, he was at work and I noticed that the entertainment center the little doors were open just equal equally distance apart and they were open about 10 or 15 inches cracked open I’m like what the heck so I asked him because this is unusual they’re magnetic they should have been shut and I thought well maybe he had come home and I had been gone for maybe 10 or 15 minutes I thought well maybe I missed him he came home for lunch so I called him and nope nope he hadn’t come home.

Okay well there you go, the other thing about this is we went on vacation, came back and our cat that we had somebody housesitting. The cat, white cat was in the midpoint between the upstairs and the downstairs and the cat left all sorts of white hair in that spot. Obviously had camped right there, didn’t move because whatever, didn’t feel comfortable. And so that was another red flag.

The other red flag, well, okay, I guess there’s one more uh shelf. And this had happened in a previous house. (Also a ghost related thing but I didn’t get into it — too long a story.) So I was this this is like okay round two. My husband had put shelves up on the wall and they’re uh bamboo. No, I’m sorry. They’re a metal a real pretty metal. My stepdad sculpted this metal shelf arrangement and so they’re on the they have wood wood uh planks in between the shelves and it fell. When it fell he had one of it’s a pickle jar, antique pickle jar glass could have broken. Nothing broke from the shelves that collapsed on my head.

So, you know, on my head like, okay. And I’m surrounded by the books and he comes running and what the heck? Cuz he had carpentry skills and this should not have happened. Same thing happened in a different house. Should not have happened. So, I’m leading up to it. As I’m sleeping overnight, two or three times I wake up and I can’t I’m I’m like, I’m choking. What the heck? I thought I forgot how to breathe. Now try to logic that one. There’s no logic for it. But because I didn’t know what else to do with it. I thought I must have somehow I’m forgetting. So I’ll just prop myself up.

And remember this never makes any sense when you’re having these experiences and trying to figure out how to make it go away. How to undo anything that’s weird and doesn’t factor into our reality box. According to Ingo Swan, that was how I was going to deal with it. Uh, and so that changed.

Now, another thing that happened. I I would hear a charm like a a little um just a one tone from it might be a windchime, something that sounded like that, a little tone. And I thought, well, that’s interesting. There’s nowhere in the room did I have a windchime or anything like that that would make that noise. So, I’d heard that. And then at another time, I had had my toe I was sleeping without the sheet on and my big toe was pulled or pushed or pressed down, just like someone had put a thumb on the toe and pressed it down. Okay, that got my attention. I decided I would just sleep with the covers on. [laughter] Fix that one. So, here’s a few things setting this up that have been going on.

And this is where it all came home. I’m waking up and I’m making a sound. Oooooouuuu. Okay. Yeah. This is coming from me. This is a sound. And as I’m as I’m coming becoming fully becoming fully awake, conscious, I’m thinking, well, that sounds like a ghost. Light bulb. There we go.

That was a thing that then triggered questions about this wonderful deal we got on this property. And then the neighbors Oh, yeah. Yeah. Um the the apartment you’re in, the residence you’re in is the one where the guy was a suicide.

Well, okay. Really? And everybody knew it. And that’s why that they did give us a great deal on the property because it had that stigma. Well, the other thing about that was that as I realized and started to try and tune in, later on found out he was stuck and I was in his space. We were in his space and it was annoying. For one thing, we didn’t keep house the same way. And apparently he was extremely meticulous, obsessive, compulsive, and everything in the closet was like, you know, the um spaced an inch apart, a hanger, dot dot dot, everything extremely methodical, extremely perfect.

That is not me. I So, so that was annoying. And technically, we were not in his space. It should have been vacant. He should have moved on. He didn’t because he was angry. Really angry. and really angry that it didn’t work when he tried to check out. So then that required some assistance. And this entity was with me for a little while before I figured out what I could do to help. And when I finally called his people in and said, “Please help him.”

And I asked him to think about the people that he knew, just anyone he knew who was a relative, a friend, someone deceased, anything to think about that. And I at the same time I asked for his people to please come help him because he couldn’t quite make the jump the leap because he was still stuck here really stuck here because of the the beliefs. Um it didn’t exist. There was nothing else to happen and then then there he was stuck with nothing else.

So he did leave. They came. It was this was an amazing thing too. He came um basically to me for help. No matter how naughty he was and, you know, annoying, he was trying to get help and he thought I could help him. I didn’t know I could until I did. And so when we asked for help, they came to get him. And he was still basically [laughter] giving reading me the riot act for being incompetent and unaware and narcissistic and just, you know, not caring about anybody else, especially him, which kind of, you know, fit the bill for him. Um and then what the cool thing was there were three entities who came to get him and – they said thank you – and so that was that was amazing that that whole transition was amazing.

Okay, so that’s the personal experience. You can’t go there and experience it, which is probably a good thing because it was a little a little confusing. But the two other places, the Stanley Hotel, Estes Park, is open for business and they do take visitors and they the ghost tour, all of that. That’s all part of the experience.

The Sagebrush Inn in Taos isn’t the same isn’t on the same level of taking experiencers and all that. It it just there are people who do talk about it and you’ll find it if you do a Google search mentioned that this place does have that energy. The reason I went there at the beginning was because I had been guided to go to the church which is a beautiful beautiful church that people have painted and I didn’t know that.

I just knew that I was supposed to go to this church. And when I did, I learned about the history of the church. And one of the things about this history, they have a special building where they house a painting. And this painting glows in the dark. It’s a painting of Christ. He’s standing on the shore. And behind him in the water is a boat during the day. And they do not let you take pictures. They do not let light in this room that isn’t it’s it’s a low lit room and it’s guarded because they don’t want to destroy the picture.

The guy who painted it, the painter, because it glowed in the dark, he got rid of it as quickly as he could because at the time he painted it, they didn’t have phosphorescent paint. They didn’t have paint that glowed in the dark. So it was shocking to him that it appeared and he gave it to the church. So they guard it and it’s, I mean it’s, it’s really amazing because what happens in that room with that painting I have had two different experiences where it was holographic where my time shifted, where the activity of the painting happened.

So what happens is there’s a cross that appears over his shoulder behind him and in my holographic experience he turns around and puts the cross in front of him and instead of being burdened by the cross the cross is a message of freedom empowerment and it’s supposed to be a message of positivity not burdened and in in this experience he said they’ve got the message backward. The message is wrong, I’m not burdened I am giving the message of freedom of release and so there it is.

I’m just paraphrasing this but it was an amazing experience and an encounter and each time twice having this picture come to life, they go in they let you in in the dark okay so you’re in the dark you see the picture and it’s just uh it’s been a few years since I’ve been there. So, I’m not sure the the schedule and all of that. You could you would have to look it up. And again, this is the church of St. Francis in Taos. And it’s an amazing place just because of the church. They every year they redo the adobe on the outside. And there’s more to that story, but for right now, this is this is it. It’s uh because of the the haunted Sagebrush Inn location. Those are the experiences that I think resonate for you know hauntings.

There’s another part of this when I was working and doing ghost uh presentations in Weston. One of the places that I went to and Verna wrote about this in her book about the ghosts of Weston, Missouri. There was a comment that I made that I didn’t realize sactually resonated until later when they were asking me about there was something I felt something interesting in one of the the cafes that we went into.

And I just said, “Well, the ghost likes to play with knives because that’s what I heard. That’s what I picked up on.” And apparently later Verna went and told the person who was in charge of the cafe at that point in time that I had made that comment. And then the person said, “Well, yeah, she was wondering why her knives were always missing or, you know, out of place. They they were being messed with.” And sure enough, well, because for me, what I got from that ghost was that it was again inconvenient that the humans were coming in and messing with that reality.

So, you know, for for ghosts, some ghosts, we’re just tire kickers and they would like us to vacate so that they could enjoy their happy ever after. And that was a deal again with the Stanley Hotel. These ghosts were not unhappy and there may be some other ghosts lingering or around in that space that could be drawn there that may have a different energy. The ones I connected to were very pleasant and upbeat and I heard music and singing and the invitation to come back [laughter] which was which was a little bit okay. I hadn’t expected that but I might have been reading too much into it because of the language of the music. It was just basically a happy song.

So these kinds of things, you know, you don’t have to believe in ghosts. That’s the fun thing about this. Even though, you know, the stats, the figures say that about 40% give or take believe in ghosts and personal encounters 18 to 20%. The most likely time that you are going to have an encounter is when someone dies that you are close to, related to, a friend, a relative, an acquaintance that you have had some kind of a bond with.

Recently, my brother experienced a loss with his partner, deceased. The thing about that is that person we don’t consider when we die that we are ghosts. We just consider and this is from experience of talking to deceased that um, it’s just another level. And the thing that you’re trying to do as a ghost is tell people I’m not dead. I’m not dead. And so this is what he was trying to do was to impress upon people that he was not dead.

The cool thing about this that I didn’t know in advance was he was a Titanic collector. He really was infatuated and fascinated by the Titanic story. So, at the funeral was the first time I realized I saw all this Titanic memorabilia. I’m like, “Good grief.” Well, it wasn’t something my brother thought was important for me to know. So, he didn’t say anything. It was like, you know, this is this is a a private a personal hobby and there it is. So, what’s to say? So, as I’m realizing this, I’m just um it’s interesting. I’m fascinated.

But as he’s as he’s um in transition, I went up and personally said to him, “If there’s anything I could do to help, please let me know. Just just let me know.” And I said, “And if it would be helpful, tell my brother, tell him.” Thinking that that’s how it would would happen. So, as I’m working, I’m sending energy. I’m thinking energetically sending energy, which I had done during the time they had they had bracelets saying, “Please send good thoughts.” as he’s transitioning and oh, working through these, you know, weeks, months, and so off and on, I would just focus.

Well, they said, well, that he’s he he’s out. And I’m like, okay. In other words, he’s not in his body and yes, he is nearby. [laughter] He’s not in the flesh. He is out. Okay. And so then I’m aware, okay, he must have passed and I intend to ask my brother about this, about the timing and all, but what I get is this, later that morning message, please let him know I’m in the house when he gets home. And I’m like, okay. And I can hear him.

I realize, oh, he’s talking to me and I need to make this, you know, deliver the message. But at the same time, I’m like, “Okay, I don’t want to intrude. I don’t know how to say this politely and bluntly.” And I mean, even though he’s open to all this, this is really quick. This is this is, he has just, this has just happened. And I don’t want to interrupt. Okay. So, I’m kind of caught up in the proper way to give the information. And as I’m trying to, you know, battle this out in my mind, he says, “You said you would help.”

At that point, I knew it was legit. At that point, I’m like, “Oh gosh, yes. This is this is him.” And okay. All right, I need to do something. So, what I did was I waited. I waited until he got I knew he would be home and then I at that point he said he’s still here. I feel him in the house and then I can give him the information that I got and the information that came from him and about the Titanic.

He told me he said I’m an, I was an engineer. Now our language is a little bit different between now and then but what I did was I start doing a Google search to figure out how that fit how that fit in the story. Okay. So I find the engineers who were present and who were there and all this and I feel drawn to a certain one and I’m thinking okay this must be the one that he’s referring to.

It had something to do with I was given a picture in my mind of what it looked like what the uniform looked like. So, I had this picture and so the picture in the the view that I saw seemed to match what I what I picked up on. So, I went ahead and said, “Okay, I believe this is him that was, you know, pictured in the group of those who were considered engineers on the Titanic.”

And what he also let me know was they were in love. I mean, oh my, okay, I forgot about this. He put me in the space of the engine room of the Titanic. It’s massive. I was like, “Oh my gosh, these it’s it’s huge. These huge whatever they are, round, you know, the engines. I don’t know what you call them. I don’t have that language. I’d have to go back and look it up again.”

And but anyway, it was the space was just gigantic everything. And the feeling was pride. They were so happy and so proud to be part of the contingent who was there at the moment in that space in time on the Titanic and the heartbreak of the boat failing because at the time it was like top of the line. This this was this was a super incredible achievement and it was going down.

So I had that feeling of heartbreak and pride in the same moment of so proud to actually show me the environment, the space that he had been in in that previous lifetime. So then when my brother got the picture, he went and he looked through their albums and he found the album of his spouse when he was younger that looks very similar to the picture that I was directed to to show him of the engineer on the Titanic.

The thing about this is you do not have to believe it. None of it. But when you get information like that and you can connect some dots, it makes it plausible and it makes it interesting that these things might match what our beliefs were when we were alive. Because in his heart of hearts, he believed that he had been on the Titanic.

Titanic Reincarnation - I had never seen a picture of him when he was younger. This was a surprise.
Titanic Reincarnation

He couldn’t prove it. He believed it. I didn’t know a thing about that. But what I was able to do was give that information to my brother of how after he had passed, he was able to connect the dot and show my brother and his peer group who all knew about this the dots connecting. He also was very good at turning off lights and turning off cars and car engines and starting car engines without a key when he passed and trying to show all of his friends, I’m not dead. I’m not dead. Think about it. Think about it.

And so that those things in terms of ghosts and afterlife, there’s a real close assembly here of what we call a ghost and just someone who is no longer in a physical form. And their belief when they are not in a physical form is not that they are dead. All right? They that’s not that isn’t it. It’s, I’m alive. I’m just in a different form in a different space.

Side by side – the two share similar features.

And when I talked to somebody recently who had lost her twin sister, she said, “Yeah.” The sister said, “I’m sorry it took me so long to connect with you, but time is different where I am.” I love that. “I’m sorry it took me so long to connect with you. Time is different where I am.” And that has been my experience as well. You know, we want to connect with somebody. It may not be right place, right time. And when I have made connections for other people, the fun thing about it is it doesn’t play by our rules. It gives us reasons to question what our rules are because things don’t matter the same way.

Okay, so I want to wrap this up. I’ll give you one last story. This is when I was in college. My girlfriend and I are in the same the dorm room. This is a dorm, okay? Like a haunted dorm. I had no idea. I did find out later that there are haunted spaces, especially at the University of Kansas. I will mention that because I’ve been there and I’ve been in a haunted space and they undid my necklace. Thank you very much. [laughter]

29 minutes, 27 seconds.

We were there doing the presentation on what we found about the ghosts? I was with a group. I wasn’t I was just part of it. Okay, it wasn’t I didn’t organize it. I just showed up and was able to do, you know, the medium kind of thing of what do you feel here? What do you sense here? And the sense was that even though they had equipment that wasn’t registering anything, the space was still there basically laughing at them because the equipment didn’t measure it, but the ghosts were still there. All right, so there you go. A little ghost humor. But also, as we were in this presentation the room had a pool table. I’m standing beside the pool table and as the big reveal is happening, my necklace falls down. Now, this is not a necklace. This is a necklace that has a funky little thing where you have to squeeze, you know, open the little whatever it is gadget [clears throat] and attach the necklace that the gadget doesn’t open by itself. Well, it did.

And I’ve since seen people show me in my presence a necklace that had a medallion on it that the medallion has a hoop around it. It does not come unattached. You have to take the necklace apart to attach the medallion. The medallion fell through. Okay. So things happen with ghosts that are just fascinating.

And anyway, my girlfriend uh we’re having a conversation. I can’t remember if the Wizard of Oz something sparked it. And she said, “I don’t believe in ghosts.” And so as we, you know, she’s sitting on the bed and I’m by the door. The doorway faces her bed. Her back is against the window. At the moment or right after when she says, “I don’t believe in ghosts.” So she’s a real skeptic. And the curtains in the on the window go straight up parallel. It was like these are straight out behind her and there was a wind all of that moment.

It was like a big gust. All of a sudden the they’re parallel. Well, they’re parallel longer than a gust of wind would hold them up flat. I mean, and we’re both just – And here’s the cowardly lion moment. I do believe, she says, “I do believe in ghosts. I do believe in ghosts.” And we didn’t talk about it again. [laughter] Okay. All right. So, there you go. Um, you can make fun of ghosts all you want, but it’s a different story when they make fun of you.

Anyway, happy Halloween. Whatever time of year you’re listening to this, ghosts don’t have to worry about our calendar. And not everything you run into is a ghost. It’s an entity. It’s an unknown. And it pays to stay curious. Keep an open mind. Don’t project your own fear, your own judgment, your own baggage on these things when you experience them.

Take time out, ask a few questions, find a common denominator, and see what’s going on. Thank you for listening and stay curious, think the best thoughts. That’s what you attract and that’s what comes back to you.

I’m still on the fence about the Stanley Hotel. I wish I knew more about that particular song choice, but we’ll leave it as it is. Good night. Sleep tight. Till we meet again. See you.

Her personal encounters include ghosts, spirit communication, out-of-body experiences, and an ongoing interactive nightlight phenomenon that began in 1997. With nearly three decades of firsthand experience, Wendy brings curiosity, humor, and an open mind to the mysteries that don’t fit neatly into conventional explanations.

Her philosophy is simple: Quiet mind. Open heart. Stay curious.
