Encounters at the Edge of Perception and the Mysterious Call of the Liminal Realm

What if contact doesn’t come through words – but through impressions, images, and cellular knowing?

I’ve been revisiting the work of Ted Owens, often referred to as The PK Man, reviewing his instructions on how to achieve direct communication with Space Intelligences. He described unusual forms of transmission: images, energy, and sensation, bypassing conventional language. I decided to meditate.

I got a response.

It began with a vision of two tall beings on either side of a smaller one in the middle. No faces. No bodies. Just shapes of beings who might be human like but there is no way for me to know that. The one image that is clear is me. I see myself pictured in the scene.

I watch as my head is removed from the image. There is a silent directive: Do not ask questions.

That part was hard. I wanted to ask why my head was removed. I complied and continued to watch.

The entire scene was illuminated in lavendar light. They were removing something and replacing it with something else in my body, though nothing was physically defined enough for me to discern details. It was an energy shift. I knew what was happening. Not intellectually, but internally.

When I was finally allowed to ask, I heard:

This is our way of connecting with you. We give you an impression that something is important for you to know, and you simply know. ‘Impression’ is the closest term. Words cannot carry the message.

They explained that this was not telepathy. It was closer to a direct transmission of awareness. A download.

It is important to help others understand this form of communication, or they may mistake it for illness. Yes, sometimes it affects the body – stomachaches, emotional shifts – and animals can feel it too. It’s all part of the adjustment.

This message relates to an experience shared by Elly Flippen (niece of remote viewing pioneer Ingo Swann) in her book: Conjunction.World. We talked about it when I interviewed her. That link will post here.

Elly wrote of being called to a national park at a specific time. Initially, she didn’t notice anything unusual. When she decided to walk into a nearby thicket things got weird. Upon entering what I referred to as a liminal zone, she felt euphoric, elevated: high.

However, after 15 minutes in the area, she got a strong urging to leave – but the euphoria of the space made her want to stay longer. She got another prompt to leave and begin to sense the approach of something darker. Still reluctant to leave the euphoric buzz, she opted to exit.

It turns out there was a physical downside to leaving that buzzy space. As she was driving away it hit her. Intense pain, like crashing from a drug induced high. Elly described it as a withdrawal.

The surprise for me? In revisiting my journal notes, dated 5.7.25, I found a passage that specifically addresses this type of event. There are no coincidences – I hadn’t even been questioning the topic at the time, it just popped into my mind and onto the page.

I had written this:

The national park disappearances are not what they seem. If someone is not meant to be here, then it is… fixed. Some remember you. Others do not. You are ‘called’ to the park to make an exit.

That scenario hasn’t been fully considered.

Some of the cases included in Ardy Sixkiller Clarke’s books reference individuals called to a certain area and not being seen again.

The transmission continued:

We are not all on the same timeline, or in the same dimension. Some visit briefly and return to the plane they are from, the game already in progress.
Time is variable.
There are day players and night players. Quantum variations on a theme.
Life and death. Cause and effect. Karma and balance.
Love restarts the game. Heaven and hell are not destinations. They are programs.

We are invited to reconsider what it means to be “missing” or “found.” What it means to remember, or to forget. What it means to be called. If something in this story stirs a memory, maybe you’ve been there too. Some of us are being guided to recover our knowing of the in-between.
