Hijinx galore

Again, I saw something in the image on the screen that caught my attention. I thought Andy saw it too and since I assumed he was thinking along the same line, I said, “Isn’t it odd how they put those flashing lights in the windows?”

He didn’t see it. And he didn’t see it when I rewound the tape and showed him where I saw it on the screen. Andy has excellent vision and sees colors I don’t. He can match a thread without fail to something I consider to be an invisible color in a patch of cloth – until he shows me the two combined – and I am astounded to even think that it can be done.

But he couldn’t see this. Am I seeing something or are my eyes creating an anomaly triggered by some sort of pattern?

I didn’t see a word – just flashes of light, sparkles, twinkling in the center point of the grids. I recreated the word image I saw last time. This time I went back to find the image pane and voila! I found it.

Flashes of white light at the intersection points of the grid.

The effect is present for the duration of this panel on the monitor screen and remains active on pause until the screen becomes still. I can’t see it if I stare directly at it – but when I relax my eyes, akin to the Magic Eye effect, the white sparks flash. Like sparklers. Random – not sequential. I have no idea what I am seeing – but it is there. And no matter how many ways I try to convey how the effect might be seen – it doesn’t work for Andy.

Fascinating. His vision is 20/20. My vision is 20/40. Maybe it has to be slightly fuzzy to catch this effect. Typical tv hypnogogic daze. Source.

The grid pattern was present when I caught the subliminal flash [a word] I mentioned in a previous post. That show was a Korean drama. This show is a Chinese drama. I haven’t seen a word. I did see characters in another show.

The only reason I caught it was because I said something out loud. I told Andy I thought it was an interesting choice for a special effect. He asked what I was talking about. At that point – we discovered Andy wasn’t seeing the effect.

Side Note: Do Subliminal Messages Actually Work?

Ian Zimmerman, who researches consumer psychology and implicit cognition at the University of Missouri–Columbia.

Disinformation or Out of the Loop? Zimmerman argues that advertisers in the U.S. probably aren’t using subliminal messages today: “I don’t think there’s any evidence to suggest that they’re more effective than just a traditional ad that we’re very aware of… Why go to the trouble?”

Yet the studies cited in this article report at least some success with the technique. If even a tiny nudge can tip the scales in one brand’s favor, it seems hard to believe marketers would simply ignore it. There’s no prohibition against subliminal messaging in the U.S., and I’ve personally noticed subliminal flashes in foreign media. It’s almost certain the method is being used—what remains unclear is just how widespread it has become. For real? What savvy marketer would not use all tools at his disposal? Source

“The FCC has no formal rules on the use of “subliminal perception” techniques. In fact, the Commission appears to have addressed the issue only twice. In 1974, the agency issued a policy statement that the use of “subliminal perception” is “contrary to the public interest.” But policy statements are not enforceable rules. Nor would it be appropriate for the Commission to fine a person for failure to comply with a policy statement.” Source

Invisible Guest

Busy on the computer, I realized Cassie was having a conversation with an invisible someone who, given the focus of her eye movement, seemed to be standing alongside the bed. She was not afraid. Her behaviour indicated a familiarity and the interaction was pleasant. I know she senses things I don’t. She seems to be receptive to this entity.

That is not always the case. She hates storms and indicates danger and extreme discomfort with the energy that accompanies storms. Sometimes, she will go outside, stare up at the sky and want to go back inside.

Last night, Andy let her out at 2:30. She came back in and jumped on me. As close as she could get. I asked what she wanted me to know. Her response. “It isn’t safe.”

I asked her if they were outside.

Her response, “They’re here.”

Inside. And I can’t see them. Night vision camera isn’t fully charged. Will that even work? I’ve got my ghost stuff… Haven’t had any luck with that.

Naturally, I went back to sleep. I suspect drowsiness is an intended side effect.

Side note 1: “Even though your dog may not be directly seeing something in the infrared light spectrum, they may be sensing a thermal heat nearby.” Source

Side note 2: From D. W. Pasulka. “Dr. Eric Davis told us that his research group used dogs as biosensors for the phenomena. He said, “the dogs see things that humans can’t see, and it scares them. When they bark, we know something is there.” Eric is a physicist who has studied UAP his whole life and who has consulted members of Congress on the topic.” Source [I recommend her books: American Cosmic and Encounters.] Website

A few years ago, Jack woke me up to see a UFO in the bedroom. I thought he was growling at the cat. Nope. It was a dinner-plate-sized UFO with about 14 red and green lights. When my mind finally caught up to the moment and I decided to focus, counting the lights, to help me remember what I was seeing, that rascal whooshed through the window and winked at me through the mini blinds. No sound.

I went back to sleep then too. It obviously had no interest in a photo op. And it didn’t like me staring at it. But – what a fantastic surprise. Yeah Jack! Was I not supposed to see it? Dogs and cats know more than they are given credit. Animals are my best barometer for things that don’t want to be seen.

I do suspect the reason some dogs have a fear of storms is related to sensing ‘incongruent’ energy of others that are attracted by the storm. Harvesters making use of plasma energy. No proof – just a solid hunch.

Random Anomalies

Public Domain Review features “The Mowing-Devil” – Thought to be the earliest entry in the crop circle catalogue. Source. 1678.

So that tale was logged long before Doug and Dave were born and deemed themselves the originators of crop circles [70’s-80’s]… Interview with Dave’s son. BBC

Also beyond the scope of Doug and Dave, Unsolved Mysteries: Canadian Crop Circles.

According to their information, “Theories on what’s creating the circles ranges from geothermal and magnetic forces, to some kind of cosmic energy. Colin Andrews has explored many of the theories. He says:

“I don’t think we need, necessarily to be talking or trying to prove that it is or isn’t extra-terrestrial. I don’t know that either. What I know is what I’m looking at that has arrived in our fields. Something knows what it’s doing here. There is intelligence of some sort. And I know they’re not made by people.”

Their takeaway: “Over the past decades, more than 10,000 crop circles have been reported from around the world. Assuming that 8,000 were made by pranksters, that still leaves 2,000 that are unexplained, and remain unsolved mysteries.” Source

I often find the best information in the comments. Several are worth noting, but my favorite post is from Mark Quigley, : “On Friday 17th August 2001 about 5 miles west of St. Neots UK I watched an orange ball of light hover and dart above a field of wheat. There was a kind of crackling sensation and sound all around. There were no houses or farm machinery there, nor road lights or traffic. It was a clear cloudless night. The phenomenon of balls of light being associated with crop circle formation is real and science’s abnegation is arrogant, ignorant and wrong. Ignore the skeptics for they have nothing of value to contribute. There is another intelligance out there; I have witnessed it and it changes your life in a profound and permenant way. Nothing is more important or more profound than this phenomenon. Balls of light create crop circles and there is no longer any doubt about this if you have witnessed it yourself.”

Nightlight Oracle Cards

I haven’t decided how to proceed with this project. It can be a book or cards or a book and cards. It’s work in progress.

Here is one of the images.

Nightlight Oracle Cards

What began as a spark of insight has blossomed into a vast constellation of voices – an inspirational catalogue of mind-body-spirit visionaries, each seeding fresh perspectives on human potential within our collective field.

How many cards? Working on that now.
