A New Development
It’s been 26 years and my nightlight now goes weeks without blinking or interacting. When it does come on, the activity is the usual flashing, flickering, and blinking, just like it had been doing for two decades.
It engages for a few days and then blinks off again. The nightlight/energy has a sense of humor and prefers I classify the activity or lack of activity as an “intermission”.
Our connection remains stable but it has taken some time for me to adjust to the lack of a visual. After experiencing such a constant presence in my daily routine, it became ‘normal’ to have a 24/7 blinking nightlight – except at night when it opted to ‘go to bed’ and conserve the bulb – telling me ‘we are not a nightlight’. Humor again.
So – it is what it is for now – an adjustment. I miss the activity.
As my connecting with other spirits often manifests as an electrical anomaly, it includes lights blinking or burning out, I’ve learned to pay attention and ask for insight/help/guidance to understand what is happening and why I am getting contacted.
Last week, the beside lamp began interacting. 8pm, August 3, 2024. We were watching something on Netflix {Rebel Moon – Andy watched as I read e-mail and played solitaire} when the light bulb* began flickering, flashing and turning off.
We checked to make sure the remote start had not been bumped but Andy saw the lamp start turning off and on with out anything being touched.
Finding no issues – it was then up to me to figure out why the light was being activated. Did it have a purpose? If so, what was the point?
There was a very quick message for me.
“Remember to stay focused.”
In asking what that comment might refer to, the message is succinct. It is also a prod to remind me to keep working. There is another follow-up. A definition, delivered in the usual 3 am wake up call.
“Direct Voice Channel” – It does not matter how much you know. What matters is that the information is transmitted without prejudice or bias.
- Each has his own way of being in the light. As one matures and grows and is inwardly enlightened it become necessary to cleanse more frequently – not to say there is ill health – simply to allow all that is no longer needed to be regularly released to allow for new information to be assimilated and engaged.
What you think you know is what holds you back. The key is to remain neutral and allow each moment to be a teaching moment and then give back what has been acquired. Learning to go with the flow and engage the living energy of all beings as all are in the light.
Being present to give a new medicine in the way of different perspective – and that comes from all in the environment. Each can become a teacher. None are more than students. All is a form of oneness. No one is above. All are in harmony with the natural force. When one can see there is no separation one can truly begin to heal.
*The lamp has a new halogen bulb. The LED bulb has not burned out, it just became too dim to function as a reading lamp and the message had been delivered.
Advice for the Living
I value the afterlife message I got from Janet, a deceased friend who briefly appeared to me during the middle of my on air traffic shift, when the only thing I could do was sit and watch in amazement as I delivered my report.
Something that resembled white snow on the screen after a television broadcast sign-off appeared to take shape on the other side of the console, directly across from me, no more than 4ft. from where I was sitting. The snow attained and held the shape of a human form for a few seconds then slowly dissolved.
Janet had been depressed for much of her life and considered suicide at times. However, when she was diagnosed with Stage 4 ovarian cancer, she had a change of heart. She realized how fast everything seemed to move at that point and the people she would miss. She didn’t want to leave.
I liked her sense of humor in the message she gave me, given that I was reporting traffic. I asked if there was any insight she could offer. She said, “Don’t rush.” (The rest of the message was telepathic, the unspoken meaning being that life passes soon enough.)
