This reminds me of the movie K-Pax. At one point the main character explains that the universe is continually expanding and contracting, and that as this happens all events repeat over and over again infinitely. He explains that even though we have all these chances to do everything again, we will always do everything exactly the same way. So even though we have infinitely many chances, we should get it right this time.
Maybe we can do this by focusing on the now.
A great perspecitve…it speaks to the notion that no matter what the choice…we are who we are. Events play out. We remain solid. We are who we are. As such, the choice is always the same.
Whatever the action, our greatest impact is when we are fully engaged. When we know who we are, we become fully engaged and every moment is now.
This is a great lesson, one that if we truly learn and live is so freeing!
