The Fruit of Mystic Flowers

Passion Flower – In spirit reborn, I Am.

“To see a world in a grain of sand And a heaven in a wild flower, Hold infinity in the palm of your hand And eternity in an hour.  – William Blake

William James on Mysticism.

*I often hear my guides when I write. They give me ideas and thoughts. Like tossing a ball to see if I want to play catch or if it hits me upside the head. Sometimes they talk in circles. When I ask, the guides say they use mixed metaphor to convey meaning beyond the linear train of thought. The words I chose to describe the connection with the guides were always inadequate until I reexamined mysticism. The parts fit.

Mystical experiences tap all the senses to flood the essence of soul in pure being. Awashed in the bliss of unification, it is as if every particle is ignited and transformed to illuminate a technicolor glow; while at the same time, it is as if nothing has changed. It was always there

The mystical experience is a moment of spectacular unification with all that is; where – #*!?#*!# – at once – all is known and forgotten.  In that fraction of an instant, you are given a jumpstart spark that lasts a lifetime…maybe more.

Once is not enough; and when you are there, it is all there is.

“What does mysticism really mean? It means the way to attain knowledge. It’s close to philosophy, except in philosophy you go horizontally while in mysticism you go vertically.” – Elie Wiesel
