Paranormal uptick
It’s been a relatively quiet year for my nightlight. By that I mean less interactive blinking and flickering. Given the bulb is more than 20 years old, it has been actively conserving energy.
There has been one change to note. I shared a previous photo and apologized for dirty state of the power strip, dreading that it could fail if I tried to clean it. When I finally gave in and cleaned it, the unit died. My nightlight is now plugged into a clean new power strip.
The activity has again increased. Fall energy upsurge and recent personal (emotions) events are part of the trigger. That helps fuel the nightlights and my guides.
Death in the family, pacemaker for Mom, health crisis for another close relative – the planned routine to help Mom was revised when several of us – including Mom – got COVID (we all recovered – no weirdness or complications – just frustrated that the tracking stopped and the general population drifted into burnout).
The podcast anomaly
I can give you an example of one paranormal tweak. It happened when I was editing my interview with Psychic Medium Irma Slage. Irma and I have known each other for (she did the math) a couple of decades. She was one of my first interviews when I was playing around on a new platform at the time called Talk Shoe. She is incredibly talented at capturing orb photos.
I especially loved the demonstration I saw with her shadowed by a TV news crew. They walked through a house and focused the camera when she pointed to a space where she sensed a presence. The orb is visible in the reviewed footage.
She has given me permission to share some photos here. I like this face shot as her signature photo for our interview. Taken during a Thanksgiving gathering. One of the recently deceased relatives decided to make his presence known, tagging her, front and center, in the picture.

A surprise
Irma and I had fun reconnecting. I edited our conversation to an hour. Satisfied with the result, I saved it and took a short break. I returned to discover the saved version was — only 26 minutes long.
(Ahhh. What??? Impossible! How the heck could that happen? Gnashing of teeth, pulling of hair ##**!! Delay of upload. Inconvenience. Very much annoyed.)
Why the angst? Because it takes more than an hour (sometimes several hours) to edit and produce an hour interview. Never mind I had no clue how it happened. I had to redo the rest of the interview to complete the show.
Apparently, it was my cue to revisit the topic I had covered when the interview cut off. My lights were surging when I discovered the interview had been halved. Affirmation. This wasn’t a tech issue. It was a tweak.
I had made a brief reference to conscious dying and what can happen at the time of a transition, saying that some people (pets) stick around to ease the process for the living. While the personality might be unware, the soul is fully attuned, coordinating on the higher plane, making arrangements to allow for loose ends to be tied.
Some people/animals stay longer to ensure their significant others are able to connect, and to ease the pain of physical separation. That can happen in the physical state or shortly after as the soul is wrapping up details in the non-physical form.
That was the point being underscored by Andy’s deceased father who died (Monday) shortly before we did the interview (Thursday) and had been checking in. In this case, the saved portion stopped at the perfect point in our conversation that related to a person staying longer in the physical body – as he had done – and continuing in the non-physical to tie up loose ends.
He wanted me to elaborate on that aspect. So I addressed it at the end of the interview. There were no further quirks with the finalized edit.
