Manifesting Begins with Focus …

… and Focus begins with Meditation. Why meditation? It is the most effective way to cease mind chatter.

The mind is a wonderful tool when harnessed and given direction. And that job is requires 24/7 awareness. Most of the time – the mind is on auto-pilot. So the first thing to do is to stop the auto-pilot to allow for a redirection.

What thoughts do you want to focus on – when you are not focused on anything? That is what you have to learn to program. Clearing all thought gets you back to square one. Empty of clutter, you are creating a mental environment that will allow you to establish a filter.

Meditation is easy. The only thing required is a quiet or secluded spot where you will not be interrupted. In your spot? Assume a comfortable position. Relax. Breathe. That’s it.

The focus? Your breath. No more. Thoughts arise and they go…you do not follow. You focus on the breath. The flow. The energy. The beauty of how it all just happens in perfect rhythm and continues without effort. Just Breathe.

Start with 4 minutes – then 8 – then 16 – then 32. Increase the time only when you are ready…or Not. 4 minutes is fine. It is not a goal nor is it a challenge to do more. It is a time to remember and honor you…without all the external garbage cluttering the system. You determine how much time that requires.

And that is the first step toward conscious self-creation.

  1. Great post! Yes we must remove the clutter and make room to focus, the results can be simply amazing. It’s akin to walking into a house which has not be cleaned for a long time, the clutter can be overwhelming. We must first clear the clutter before we can focus.

  2. Thank you for your thoughts. I am focused … on cleaning the house … now that the clutter has been removed … and looking forward to observing what comes to fill up the beckoning available space this time. : ) What more of me will I yet see?

  3. Hello – You ask a loaded question. The easy part is focus. Everything beyond that requires effort and direction/redirection. It is shifting your life to become in tune with all that you wish to bring in.

An example: If you love wealth – then you must also accept … and value and learn from those who are wealthy without judgment because that is what you will also become. You will not be a clone but you must value all who represent what you wish to attract. Any part of you that does not value it – repels it. If you desire happiness, then affirm all that you can see in those who look to be truly happy. If you do not like their example – then do not judge – do the work on yourself, accept them as they are, and provide a better one for someone else to model.

Meditation helps to establish peace and clarity. It also creates an empty vessel to allow one to see what thoughts and attitudes are gumming up the works.

This is the short version. But that is the next step: Resolving the past to avoid recreating it in the present. Manifesting is not as easy as “The Secret” implied with the Law of Attraction. But – when one is willing to do the work – it gets results. It is a process.
