Welcome to Monday. A quick word before the daily grind reclaims us. Ceaseless demands on time and energy for the external trappings of life often win out over the need to reconnect with the inner essence. Eventually, that negligence takes a toll and leads to a sense of disconnection, isolation, of being alone.
As a reflection of the inner state, it may appear to the individual as a sense of being disenfranchised or isolated from the world. The appearance is an illusion. The separation is from Soul, Spirit, the Divine within.
Time to reconnect. Where to start? Create a personal sanctuary and visit it – without fail – 4 minutes a day. It can be a mental state or a physical space, or a combination of both (or it can be virtual). Whatever works for you. Is it that easy? Will it work? Yes. You are watering the seed of soul. The only reason the seed began to atrophy was due to lack of energy/attention/awareness. Shift that and it returns. Pay even more attention to it and it will bloom. Start where you are and see where that takes you. 4 minutes a day. More later. Have a wonderful week.
“Look at each day as a chance to invest life into life. A chance to share your experience and deposit it into someone else’s conscience. Each day is a chance to work miracles in the lives of others.” – Jim Rohn
The best place to start working miracles is on yourself. Then you can be certain they are real!
That last highlighted line really struck a chord with me today. Thank you so much for this post, and for mentioning my blog earlier last week.
I’m going to take your advice and work a few miracles this week. For a few minutes, or hour or two there, I almost forgot I could!
