You are Magic. You are Mystery. You are Mountain.
You are Key to the Universe.
Within, You hold the Same Ingredients as the Sage…
The Difference unfolds through Application: Information or Wisdom.
How do we make those inner connections or higher connections? It helps to develop a tool or an abilty as a stepping stone. Later, that can be set aside but an initial stepping stone will hone your intuitive skills.
There are many methods for divining. I explored Pendulum, Tarot, Runes, and Animal Cards, landed on Automatic Writing and then progressed to Channeling. Using cards (many variations exist, including tarot) stones/runes, dowsing, dreams, etc., each offers an opportunity to acquire information it is difficult to access on the conscious/manifest plane. I am always looking to see how others tap in and use their abilities to pass that along because each is unique and my way is not for everyone.
I found Irma Slage through Daily Om. The sync point was when I continued to her blog and landed on the topic of her cat passing – as I have just been working through letting go of Max. She offers an example of how automatic writing works for her. It is very easy to follow to get an idea of how it might work for you. I also talk about it in Talking to Nightlights but, as I like lots of examples to choose from when I want to learn something so I can decide what works best to allow me to create my own recipe, I want to provide other resources to learn from as well. She is a great example of what works and what works well.
I love oracles and had been unable to find anything on line that offered Animal Spirit…until, once again, Daily Om provided me with an answer: Lissa Coffey. The interactive (free) Animal Spirit Oracle and the Majong Oracle on her site are excellent. The bible of Animal Spirit Cards is still Medicine Cards by Jamie Sams.
And surprise! I found Clare Goodwin – whose mandala creations I have long admired.
Connections and Inspiration everywhere you look. There aren’t enough hours in a lifetime to take it all in but the joy is in taking in what we can…and sharing as we go.
